GENERAL VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

Community and Cultural Connections Inc (CCCi) is currently looking for dedicated and committed volunteers – who are willing to contribute to achieve good community outcomes – including assistance of the aged people in a centre and/or at social outings, home visiting, telephone conversation, media roles, administration tasks, event organisation, and participation in a research team on community service and development issues.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR SOCIAL SUPPORT SERVICES

Volunteers are needed at Community and Cultural Connections for Social Support Services to:

  • make a regular phone call to check up
  • provide companionship and social support
  • assist activities in a centre-based setting or at an social outing

Requirement:

  • Provide a Police Check or will be willing to do so when commence at CCCi (the cost of Police Checks is paid by CCCi)

There are many frail older people who need help to continue living independently in their own homes and in the community.
