Community and Cultural Connections
Community and Cultural Connections Inc is a not-for-profit organisation based in Marrickville, NSW. The organisation receives the majority of its funding from the Australian Government’s Department of Social Services, the Australian Government’s Department of Health, and small grants from Multicultural NSW, NSW Department of Social Services, Inner West Council, Canterbury-Bankstown Council, NSW ClubGrants, NSW Government, Dementia Australia and Community Underwriting.
We provide services and engage in community development across the Inner West of Sydney including the local government areas of Burwood, Canada Bay, Canterbury-Bankstown, Inner West, Strathfield, and City of Sydney and other LGAs in the South East Sydney Region.
Through comprehensive, sustainable, inclusive services and community engagement, we aim to improve the quality of life for people living in the local area and to promote and strengthen social cohesion and community harmony.
We offer culturally and linguistically appropriate and responsive services to seniors, people with a disability, their carers and family members to enable them to lead an active life and continue to live independently in their homes and contribute to the community.
The members of Community and Cultural Connections (CCCi) include local residents, clients and volunteers who actively engage with us to ensure the highest standards of service delivery and positive impact.
The Board of Management and staff of CCCi acknowledge the traditional owners of this land and apologise for past and present injustices suffered by the Aboriginal Community. We recognise the right of the Aboriginal Community to social justice.
“The Board and staff at CCCi are indebted to the Addison Road Community Centre Organisation for the provision of office space and facilities indispensable to CCCi’s engagement not only with our core clients but also with the wider community”
