Volunteer Program

Volunteer Program

Our volunteers are at the heart of Community and Cultural Connections. We have over 50 active volunteers who generously contribute their time, personality and expertise to helping the community.

Our volunteers come from all walks of life, and come to work at CCCi for a wide range of reasons: they may simply want to generously donate their time and skills, contribute to their community, or they may be seeking a pathway to employment. Some of the roles our volunteers undertake include:

  • administration
  • art therapy
  • client advocacy
  • tech support
  • physical activities
  • community development

For many volunteers, our program has developed their confidence, skills and knowledge of the not-for-profit sector, in particular working with the needs and aspirations of CALD and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community members. It has enhanced their ability to engage with community members and created inroads towards paid employment.

If you would like to volunteer to help CCCi, please contact Vu Dang, Volunteer Coordinator on (02) 8507 2027, mobile: 0449 049 635 or email volunteercoordinator@ccci.org.au.
